What is Airothene used for?

Airothene is used to protect surfaces during storage and transport, especially furniture, glass, electronics and industrial products. It is wrapped around a product or laid between layers, where it absorbs shock and vibration and stops scratches and scuffs.

Airothene or bubble wrap?

Choose Airothene when the main risk is the surface being scratched or scuffed, or when the wrap has to stay thin. Choose bubble wrap when the main risk is impact and you have the room for it. Plenty of packing benches use both.

Choosing a thickness and width

Thicker foam cushions more, and thinner foam suits interleaving, where the layers have to stack flat. Choose the width closest to what you wrap, because cutting a wide roll down adds waste. If you are unsure, tell us the product and we will recommend one.
